Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how the Flush mobile application ("Flush", "we", "us") handles information when you use the app. Unlike many traditional services, Flush is designed as a device-first optimization tool, meaning most operations happen directly on your iPhone rather than on external servers.
This document is intentionally written to clearly explain not only what happens with your data, but also what does NOT happen.
1. How Flush Works
Flush is a mobile utility focused on improving device performance, freeing storage, and helping users maintain digital cleanliness.
Instead of collecting and storing your personal data remotely, Flush analyzes information inside your device environment to generate suggestions and insights.
Key capabilities include:
- Identifying duplicate and visually similar photos
- Detecting unnecessary or large files
- Cleaning duplicate or incomplete contacts
- Reviewing calendar events for clutter or outdated entries
- Providing battery and performance recommendations
- Checking whether your email appears in public data breaches
- Offering ad-blocking support tools
- Verifying device security posture (OS version, passcode configuration status)
2. Local Processing Model
Flush is built on a local processing model.
This means:
- Your photos are scanned on-device
- Your contacts are analyzed on-device
- Your calendar is reviewed on-device
We do not upload your personal content (photos, contacts, calendar data) to our servers.
All results you see are generated directly on your phone.
3. Information Categories
3.1 Device-Stored Data (Processed Locally)
When you grant permissions, Flush may access:
- Photo library
- Contacts list
- Calendar events
This access is used strictly to:
- Detect duplicates
- Identify empty or incomplete entries
- Suggest cleanup actions
Flush does not automatically delete or modify your data. All actions require your confirmation.
3.2 Device Status Information
To provide optimization insights, Flush may read system-level indicators such as:
- iOS version
- Available storage
- General battery-related metrics
This information remains on-device and is used only to display recommendations.
3.3 Email Check Feature
If you choose to use the email leak detection feature:
- You manually enter an email address
- The email may be checked against external breach databases
We do not store your email permanently.
This feature is optional and only runs when triggered by you.
3.4 Technical Diagnostics
We may collect limited technical signals to improve reliability, such as:
- Crash logs
- Performance errors
These logs do not include your personal content.
4. What Flush Does NOT Do
To make things explicit, Flush does NOT:
- Store your photos on external servers
- Upload your contacts database
- Track your browsing history
- Access message content
- Collect passwords or passcodes
- Sell your personal data
5. Why Data Is Processed
Data (mostly local) is used to:
- Generate cleanup suggestions
- Highlight storage usage patterns
- Improve app stability
- Provide security-related insights
We do not build behavioral profiles or run targeted advertising systems based on your personal data.
6. Permissions Explained
Flush requests permissions only when needed:
- Photos — to find duplicates and similar images
- Contacts — to detect duplicate or empty entries
- Calendar — to identify unnecessary events
You can revoke these permissions at any time in your device settings.
7. External Services
Some features rely on third-party infrastructure, for example:
- Email breach databases
- Crash analytics tools
These services receive only minimal technical or user-provided data required to function.
8. Data Retention
- Most analyzed data never leaves your device
- Temporary data (if any) is not retained longer than necessary
- Diagnostic data may be stored in aggregated form
9. Security Measures
We apply standard safeguards such as:
- Encrypted connections (HTTPS)
- Restricted data flow architecture
- Minimal data exposure design
Even so, no digital system can guarantee absolute security.
10. Your Control
You remain in control at all times:
- You decide which permissions to grant
- You decide what to delete or keep
- You can stop using features at any time
11. Children
Flush is not designed for children under 13, and we do not knowingly process children's personal data.
12. Updates to This Policy
We may update this document to reflect changes in the app or legal requirements. Updates will be reflected with a new effective date.
By using Flush, you confirm that you understand how the app operates and how your data is handled.
